waffles & tangents is the first love letter i painted. it began in a moment of listening to my partner, when he apologised for ‘waffling’ too much and going off on too many ‘tangents.’ it’s a quirk of his i adore, so i decided to tell him that.. in paint.
this piece is for everyone who tells a hundred stories within one, who starts a tale and lets it wander into all the corners their heart’s been hiding. this painting is made to appreciate this way of being.
